Monthly Sacred Space Gatherings

COMMON GROUND SACRED SPACE GATHERINGS

Common Ground hosts monthly multicultural interfaith gatherings in the Philadelphia area, on the first Sunday of every month from 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM. Each month feautures a theme exploring the essence of a selected universal spiritual principle. Meetings include inspirational readings, live music, short talks and a time for inner reflection. There is an optional guided meditation from 3:00 to 3:20 PM. Following the meeting all are welcome to gather and enjoy an array of healthy foods and beverages, available for purchase from select vendors.

Speakers have included Buddhist meditation master, Bhante Wimala: world religions scholar Rev. Charles Brown; Sufi peace advocate Jonathan Granoff, Tibetan scholar and master artist Venerable Losang Samten, Presbyterian minister Patricia Pierce Jewish Renewel Rabbi Marcia Prager and Philosopher Ashok Gangadeen.

MEMBERSHIP & FEES:
Membership is self-selecting and there are no fees.
Donations to help cover Common Ground’s expenses are gratefully accepted. We are a volunteer based non-profit community organization. Please let us know if you would you like to get involved.
